This headboard was not my first choice but it was my favorite one that would ship to Hawaii with Amazon Prime. I ordered it on a Monday and Amazon said that it would be delivered on Friday. I thought to myself when I ordered it that there is no way that it would be delivered to Maui that quickly but it was. I assembled it within an hour of it being delivered today. For the price point, I found it to be of very high-quality. It had a great finish with only a few minor imperfections which were barely noticeable. As per suggestions in other reviews, I used a little wood glue in the assembly. I first put the headboard together (minus the four bolts that held the entire headboard together) to make sure that everything fit properly, which it did. I then disassembled it and reassembled it using the wood glue. The finished product was beautiful and easily attached to a standard queen size metal bed frame with the provided hardware. I did not experience any of the issues that people claimed in some of the negative reviews. Highly recommended.
