I have this running the parimiter of a 1/4 acre pig pasture. This was easy to install and hook up. (this was my first fence energizer). I added a solar panel to the mix and it has been staying charged. When testing i am getting 7-9K volts depending on the charge of the battery. I have has this up and running for 3 months now. would definatly recommend!
