Better than I expected, based on other reviews. Yes it's plastic, but it just holds a light weight cell phone, for crying out loud, you don't have to man-handle it! It fits perfectly on the handlebars of my Honda Shadow 750 Aero, and no problems with excessive vibration loosening it up. I like how I can adjust it to different angles because that way I can keep the sun from reflecting off the face of the phone, which makes it difficult to see. One thing I didn't like, and therefore only 4 stars, it didn't come with an adapter for my Android phone! Three adapters and not the right one, so I had to find one someplace else and order that also before I could use it. I also bought a single-ear ear bud so I can hear the GPS instructions or my music over the sound of the motorcycle and the wind noise. I certainly would not have paid full retail for it, but I found it here for almost half, Amazon comes through again! All in all, I couldn't be happier with it!UPDATE: I purchased this in the summer of 2015 so used it the last half of the 2015 and all of the 2016 riding seasons, and it has stood up well to a lot of use, as I put well over 10,000 on my bike in 2016 alone. One thing I noticed right away is that the when my phone is in the holder, the release button is sometimes difficult to push in. I figured out that, instead of trying to force it, I just lightly squeeze the brackets together that hold the phone as I'm pushing the button and it releases smoothly. Another thing I found is that the adapter connection vibrated loose so my phone wouldn't stay charged, so I just wrapped electrical tape around the connection to hold it and that solved the problem. I have also purchased a Bluetooth intercom which I paired with my phone, thus eliminating the earbud I had purchased with it.
